With reports reaching us, The Nigerian Senate has outlined modalities to probe the 5G Communication network in the country. The

It is noted that the Nigerian Senate ordered the government to halt its proposed launch and mandate the relevant bodies to carry out an investigation into the network and report back within 4 weeks.

This happened after deliberations on a motion put forward by Senator Uche Ekwunife, drawing the attention of the senators to the status of the 5G Network in the country.
Supporting the motion, the Deputy Majority leader, Senator Ajayi Boroffice was of the view that the deployment of the Network was still a controversial issue, stressing that the experts should be allowed to analyze and identify the merits and demerits of its deployment.

5G is the 5th generation mobile network. It is a new global wireless standard after 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. 5G enables a new kind of network that is designed to connect virtually everyone and everything together including machines, objects, and devices.
